Microsoft is the evil sole of the internet!! Not only did Microsoft design a poor operating system, that could easily be infected, it also designed the worst browser in the world. Internet explorer is simply the worst, not just for designers, but for everybody.
1. I strongly recommend opera. It is the safest browser and is extremely fast and packs a boatload of features.
2. Firefox – It is a very good browser, and ease of use, addons have carried it to the next level. The favorite browser of the world, firefox is good in all aspects except for startup time and memory consumption. I am a firefox user myself.
3. Chrome – Child of google. A google quality browser, that is shaping up to be a proper browser. Time could challenge chrome against firefox, and the fight may just get intensified.
4. Safari – Child of Apple! It works amazingly fast, launches in a ultra quick second, and is very secure. If you are using safari on a mac, you have the best browser on earth, else you have a bad combination of windows and safari (crashes a lot in windows).
5. Others – Maxthon, Mozilla, and few others are not considered, because they do not make up the major traffic. I am not aware of these standards of these browsers.
Anything is alright, except Internet explorer.
